robin's roses
In 2002, Robin Wilkins invited a group of ladies to make quilts for seriously ill chiloren under the banner of Project Linus. The group, later known as Robin's Roses, have been supplying the Royal Children's Hospita (now Lady Cilento Children's Hospital) in Brisbane and Gympie Hospital's Chemotherapy Ward ever since.
More than 20 years later, Robin's Roses have made and donated over 11,000 quits, providing love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children and adults who are seriously ill, traumatised or otherwise in need.
