Through your feedback following the 2025 event, you let us know that you wanted lots more workshops – we listened! And will be offering heaps of hands-on workshops. They will be announced closer to the event, make sure you’re on the mailiing list to get first options. For those who want to learn a heritage trade and those who’d love to learn a craft – from the experts.

Please email admin@makersfair.au – include your name, phone number and mention the workshop you’d like to book. Your booking info will be passed on to your tutor who will be in touch with you to confirm your booking and provide payment details.

While you’re wandering around the site, take a minute to do a “Make’n’Take” – from heritage crafts to all sorts of stitching and crafting, you can create your own little treasure to take home. 

No booking required, these are offered by many of our heritage artisans onsite + there’s heaps of all sorts of stitchery Manke’n’Takes in the Markets area in the Pavilion and around the site.
