Devon Campbell, the master, founder, designer behind Ironbark Tools, discovered his love for woodworking and music in school. He started by building instruments, drawn to the precision and beauty of the craft, later expanding into furniture and joinery. After working at Carbatec (sponsor of the Heritage Makers Fair Woodcraft Arena), he launched Ironbark Toolworks.
Devon specializes in custom tools for niche woodworking needs, like lutherie jigs. “Some tools, like radius dishes, aren’t in hardware stores but are essential for luthiers,” he says. Passionate about quality, he values the elegance of older tools over mass-produced modern ones.
