COLLECTORS MARKET & VALUATIONS!

COLLECTORS,  ECLETIC EPHEMERA, HOBBIES, CURIOS…

Collectible and antique markets are not just places to find unique treasures; they’re also the record-keepers, the living archives of our culture, heritge and nostalgia. Do you remember dial telephones, vinyl records and gramophones? Kerosene lamps and wood stoves warming the kitchen or typing letters on a manual typewriter? The box brownie? These treasured objects tell the stories of generations past and evoke a wonderful sense of nostalgia.

This exciting new feature at the Heritage Makers Fair will showcase a rich tapestry of antiques, vintage wares, collectibles and curiosities, offering visitors a fascinating journey through the decades.

EVALUATIONS AT THE FAIR - “Antiques Roadshow” style!

Roundabout Antiques, owned by the Neilsen family and operating since 1983, is an extension of the family’s enduring commitment as professional antiques and collectibles dealers.

For them, dealing in antiques and collectables is a fulltime profession, driven by lifelong learning and experience in the antiques and collectibles field. They have handled a wide gamut of pieces, totalling hundreds of thousands of items, adding to many millions of dollars over our decades in the industry.

Most of us have a little treasure tucked away somewhere that we’ve always wondered about – an inherited keepsake, a garage sale find, a vintage collectible or age-old curiosity… but what is it? What’s it worth? Is it a priceless heirloom or is it reproduction?

Bring along your treasures to the Fair to be examined by our expert specialist. Share the history behind your piece, the story of how it came into your hands and our specialist, Robert Nielsen, will provide an expert appraisal. With decades of experience, he’s mastered the art of distinguishing between “old” and “valuable”, “rare” and “reproduction”, “treasure” and simply “…interesting….”
